Vineyard:
A historic vineyard in Portezuelo dating back to the 17th century. 30-40 hectares under vine, decomposed granitic sand. With no record of any replanting, these vines could very well date to the establishment of the vineyard.
Fermentation/Aging:
Manually destemmed with zaranda into steel tank for two weeks of fermentation on skins. Pressing into steel tanks for 2 months aging. Racked to French oak for 3-4 months and then again to steel just before bottling.
